Not every gym session can be your best\u2014but few get you banned from America\u2019s most populous state.<\/p>\n

California Governor and longtime MAGA troll Gavin Newsom has \u201cbanned\u201d Kid Rock from entering his state after the rap-rock country singer appeared in a shirtless workout video<\/a> with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.<\/p>\n

\u201cI HAVE SEEN ENOUGH. AS GOVERNOR OF THE FREE WORLD, I, GAVIN C. NEWSOM, AM OFFICIALLY BANNING \u2018KID ROCK\u2019 FROM CALIFORNIA,\u201d the governor\u2019s official press account posted to social media. <\/p>\n

\u201cHIS SHIRTLESS VIDEO WITH \u2018SECRETARY BRAINWORM\u2019 WAS INAPPROPRIATE, CREEPY, AND VERY LOW ENERGY. NOT WHAT YOU WANT AROUND OUR CHILDREN! ALSO, SOME OF THE WEAKEST PUSHUPS EVER WITNESSED. CALIFORNIA ONLY ALLOWS WINNERS!\u201d<\/p>\n

The video in question, shared by RFK Jr. on Tuesday, features the pair performing a \u201crock out workout\u201d to Kid Rock\u2019s hit 1999 song \u201cBawitdaba.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the video, they both strip down, use gym equipment, get into ice baths wearing jeans, and drink milk in a hot tub. At one point, Kennedy uses a stationary exercise bike in a sauna while Kid Rock does some rather crooked-looking pushups behind him.<\/p>\n

The clip was widely mocked from all sides, with Fox News hosts on The Five cringing<\/a> over the bonkers clip. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis raises a question: who rubs off on who?\u201d Greg Gutfeld asked. \u201cIt\u2019s like, RFK was a bad influence on Kid Rock. Who would have seen that coming?\u201d<\/p>\n

Comedian Stephen Colbert branded it<\/a> \u201csenior softcore\u201d and said that the video \u201craises a lot of questions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Newsom, who was engaged in a meme war with President Donald Trump and his various lackeys throughout much of last year, did not miss his opportunity to join in the mockery.<\/p>\n

The California governor has, however, previously posted an image<\/a> of himself working out in jeans during a campaign to promote physical exercise in 2021.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not the first time that the man who has satirically appointed himself \u201cAmerica\u2019s favorite governor\u201d has clashed with the country star. <\/p>\n

In August, Newsom\u2019s press account shared an image<\/a> of the 55-year-old rocker as Uncle Sam, captioned \u201cKid Rock wants you to support Gavin Newsom,\u201d in an attempt to satirize Trump\u2019s efforts to use Taylor Swift\u2019s image without permission as a fraudulent personal endorsement. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe only support Gavin Newscum will ever get out of me is from DEEZ NUTZ,\u201d Rock responded<\/a>, clearly upset with the image.<\/p>\n

The singer has faced several public embarrassments recently, including the failure<\/a> of his Turning Point USA alternative \u201cAll-American Halftime Show\u201d and the cancellation<\/a> of a date on his Rock the Country music festival tour, thanks to a string of high-profile artist withdrawals.<\/p>\n

Newsom has recently appeared on the international stage at the Munich Security Conference, where he told the audience that Trump is temporary and that Europe stands united against America\u2019s current president. <\/p>\n
