(WBAY) &#8211; Those strolling along College Avenue in downtown Appleton on Saturday got to see some amazing ice sculptures.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Avenue of Ice Carvings event featured 26 handcrafted ice sculptures, with this year\u2019s theme being \u201cWhat We Love About Wisconsin\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">It features sculptures of Wisconsin favorites, like the classic dairy cow, an Old-Fashioned, and a nod to Packers pride. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Many were set up in front of downtown businesses as a way to bring people together.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cI\u2019m glad they\u2019re doing these like community events. I\u2019ve also just noticed that Appleton has been doing a lot of them recently. Between Mile of Music, Death by Chocolate, and like this, too. Just good things to do on the weekend that just fill up, time for families,\u201d said Matt Mangian of Kimberly.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The ice sculptures will be up as long as the weather allows.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2026 WBAY.
