Bronny James is back in the G League.<\/p>\n

The Los Angeles Lakers<\/a> announced midway through the week that LeBron’s son would be joining the South Bay Lakers for the weekend.<\/p>\n

That meant back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday for Bronny, both against the Texas Legends.<\/p>\n

South Bay won both games, and Bronny’s efficiency improved on Saturday.<\/p>\n

His stats in the 104-99 win over the Legends on Saturday:<\/p>\n

Aside from the turnovers, it’s a really quality night for Bronny.<\/p>\n

Those turnovers do raise the very real concern that Bronny won’t develop into a playmaking ball handler as a professional.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the best he can do is make plays when he’s asked, and making 50% of his shots from the floor and 42% from 3-point range is a good showing from Bronny.<\/p>\n

Drew Timme led South Bay with 24 points, and RJ Davis added 23.<\/p>\n

Bronny played 34 minutes, and after a blowout win the night before, South Bay had to work a lot harder for this one, giving crunch time action to its best players, including Bronny.<\/p>\n

He’ll likely come back to the NBA soon, although he could also still return to the G League.<\/p>\n

All Bronny can do is make the most of the chances given him, and this weekend in the G League, he did a good job of that.<\/p>\n
