Kerry Washington<\/a> gave the apron dress the red carpet treatment while lighting up the 2026 BAFTAs red carpet<\/a> on Sunday night in London. The Scandal alum made a dreamy entrance in midnight blue at the February 22 award show, turning heads in a navy sequined Prada gown that completely bared her sides and back.<\/p>\n

Washington brought some sparkle to the red carpet at the Royal Festival Hall, thanks to the mirrored black disks that adorned her side boob-baring bodice and the dainty straps that held the barely-there style in place. In contrast to its gilded design, the Django Unchained actress\u2019s dark blue dress featured an airy pleated tulle skirt that fanned several feet behind her<\/a>. As Washington posed on the red carpet, she also showed off the Prada gown\u2019s plunging backless design, which was simultaneously framed and held in place by sequin-encrusted straps, including one around her ribs.<\/p>\n

The actress, who recently debuted a bold new bob with blunt bangs<\/a> for her role in Imperfect Women, styled her black hair in a messy updo with a side-swept fringe that accentuated its undone texture. Complementing her dress\u2019s vivid shade with a navy blue manicure, Washington kept the color scheme going with diamond-encrusted navy blue medallion-style earrings. She accentuated her features with a dark brown matte smoky eyeshadow, sculpted cheekbones, and a nude matte lipstick.<\/p>\n
