Dax Shepard gave wife Kristen Bell a \u201cless-than-exciting Valentine\u2019s Day\u201d this year.<\/p>\n
The actor confessed to \u201cArmchair Expert\u201d listeners<\/a> during Monday\u2019s \u201cFact Check\u201d segment that he \u201cdefinitely neglected\u201d his partner and spoiled their daughters instead.<\/p>\n The \u201cParenthood\u201d alum, 51, \u201cwent all out\u201d for Lincoln, 12, and Delta, 11.<\/p>\n Dax Shepard (pictured above on Jan. 10) \u201cneglected\u201d his wife, Kristen Bell, this Valentine\u2019s Day. Getty Images for Vanity Fair<\/p>\n The actor told \u201cArmchair Expert\u201d podcast listeners his partner had a \u201cless-than-exciting\u201d holiday. kristenanniebell\/Instagram<\/p>\n \u201cMy girls are my Valentines. \u2026 All my resources went to the little ones,\u201d Shepard gushed, noting that his mom, Laura Labo, was in town and got the short end of the stick as well.<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s been my Valentine for 51 years, so it really becomes a bandwidth [issue],\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n The actor noted that Bell, 45, and Labo \u201csaw that [he] was spending a lot of energy on [his] other two Valentines\u201d \u2014 including devoting \u201cseveral hours\u201d to a grand gesture.<\/p>\n Instead, the \u201cParenthood\u201d alum \u201cwent all out for the couple\u2019s preteen daughters, Lincoln and Delta. kristenanniebell\/Instagram<\/p>\n \u201cAll my resources went to the little ones,\u201d Shepard (pictured above in January 2025) said.
