Foo Fighters<\/a> kicked off their intimate run of UK and Ireland shows in Dublin last night (Monday February 23) with a hit packed set.<\/p>\n

On Sunday morning (February 22),\u00a0Dave Grohl and co. revealed that they would be playing small shows<\/a> at Dublin\u2019s Academy, London\u2019s O2 Shepherd\u2019s Bush Empire on Wednesday (February 25) and Manchester\u2019s O2 Ritz on Friday (February 27).<\/p>\n

In order to\u00a0get tickets, fans had to queue outside the respective venues at 12pm\u00a0and they were handed out on a first come, first serve basis. They were priced at \u00a399\u00a0each\u00a0and fans were limited to two tickets per person.<\/p>\n

Last night, the band performed a raucous set in Dublin which saw the band kick off with \u2018All My Life\u2019, before they went to play the likes of \u2018Times Like These\u2019, \u2018The Pretender\u2019, \u2018My Hero\u2019 and their new single \u2018Your Favorite Toy<\/a>\u2018 along with another new track \u2018Of All People\u2019. They also played a bunch of tracks from their earlier years including \u2018This Is A Call\u2019, \u2018Exhausted\u2019 and \u2018Big Me\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Wrapping up their set, they performed rollicking rendtions of \u2018Best Of You\u2019 and \u2018Everlong\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Reacting to the performance many fans gave their verdict on the show with one fan writing: \u201cFoo Fighters in Dublin. Fucking incredible.\u201d<\/p>\n

Following the performance, the band also posted a pic of themselves with Grohl lifting a beer in the air. \u201cCHEERS DUBLIN!\u201d they wrote.<\/p>\n

The gig followed an intimate shorter set at St James\u2019 Church in the city on Sunday (February 22).<\/p>\n

They will continue their intimate tour in London on Wednesday before wrapping up in Manchester on Friday.<\/p>\n

The band are also set to play a European stadium tour that will include two nights at Liverpool\u2019s Anfield Stadium<\/a> at the end of June before they head on for a North American stadium tour for the summer<\/a>, and an Australian and New Zealand tour for late 2026 and early 2027<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Foo Fighters announced\u00a0their\u00a012th full-length effort<\/a> last week and shared the lead single and title track \u2018Your Favorite Toy\u2019<\/a>. The album will be released on April 24, and Grohl has teased that the new album is\u00a0stacked with \u201cnoisy, loud bangers\u201d that feel like\u00a0they\u2019re\u00a0from \u201cthe old days\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

In a four-star review of new \u2018Your Favorite Toy\u2019 single<\/a>,\u00a0NME\u00a0wrote: \u201cFoos have certainly turned up the heat, shifting to a more thrilling gear when they could cruise down the slow lane to keep things rolling across the stadium and festival circuit this summer.<\/p>\n

\u201cDespite having made headlines in recent years for\u00a0drummer squabbles<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0infidelity<\/a>, their comeback single is snarlingly unapologetic. This is not a cap-in-hand call for peace, love and understanding. It\u2019s a middle finger statement of intent: \u201cNah\u00a0nah\u00a0nah!\u201d<\/p>\n
