\n\tTennis Channel<\/a> has served up a three-year deal for Chris Eubanks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe former tennis pro, who has emerged as a fan favorite for expert analysis and natural charisma, will join the network as an on-air commentator and host. Eubanks debuts with Tennis Channel when the BNP Paribas Open kicks off in Indian Wells on March 4. The contract comes after Eubanks retired from the ATP Tour at age 29 in November 2025. The onetime Olympian, who turned pro in 2015, reached a career-high of No. 29 in the ATP rankings after being boosted by a quarterfinal run at Wimbledon. <\/p>\n

\n\tPer an ESPN rep, Eubanks will continue to work for ESPN on the Australian Open, Wimbledon and U.S. Open.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019ve always loved talking tennis almost as much as playing it,\u201d Eubanks said in a statement about his new Tennis Channel gig. \u201cTennis Channel has always been such an important part of how fans experience our sport, so to now join the team in this capacity is incredibly special. Having the opportunity to share what\u2019s happening inside the lines \u2014 the strategy, the emotions, the momentum shifts \u2014 is something I\u2019m really excited about. Tennis has given me so much and I am looking forward to staying connected to the game in this way.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTennis Channel CEO Jeff Blackburn said the network is \u201cthrilled\u201d to have Eubanks join the team. \u201cChris understands where tennis is right now \u2014 competitively and culturally. He brings an authenticity and point of view that resonates on-air.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe network praised Eubanks\u2019 move from the courts to the broadcasting booth for how it aligns with an ongoing push to blend sports coverage with storytelling that connects with a modern audience. Viewers have complimented Eubanks online for how he uses his experience to explain the game while also connecting with the tour\u2019s most popular players, like this exchange<\/a> with tennis superstar Coco Gauff<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\tWhen Eubanks took to Instagram last November to announce his retirement, he recalled his accomplishments (two-time ACC player of the year, Wimbledon quarterfinals and Olympic run) and the \u201cincredible ride\u201d of being able to travel the world and form incredible relationships while fulfilling a lifelong dream of playing professional tennis. He\u2019ll continue the traveling and relationships part as he sets off with the new deal on the other side of the desk. <\/p>\n
