CLEARWATER, Fla. \u2014 A police sergeant with Pinellas County Schools died Wednesday afternoon after participating in an active assailant exercise earlier in the day, officials with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said.<\/p>\n

Sgt. Greg Graff, 61,\u00a0was participating in an indoor classroom training at Clearwater High School when he collapsed and was transported to the hospital, officials said. He died there shortly after.<\/p>\n

Graff worked for Pinellas County Schools Police for seven years. He previously served at the city of Douglasville Police Department in Georgia for 29 years.\u00a0<\/p>\n
