\n\tDemocrats\u2019 counterprogramming to Donald Trump<\/a>\u2018s State of the Union address didn\u2019t get nearly the attention as the big event, but the president himself took note.<\/p>\n

\n\tTrump was irate on his Truth Social platform on Wednesday, referring to Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) as \u201clunatics\u201d who should be deported. Omar and Tlaib heckled the president as he delivered his speech in the House chamber.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe president also threw in a few attacks on Robert De Niro<\/a>, who participated in an event called State of the Swamp<\/a> at the National Press Club, sponsored by Defiance.org.<\/p>\n

\n\tThere, De Niro told the crowd, \u201cTragically, we are now in a country of, by and for a handful of dishonest and greedy and cruel authoritarians.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tDe Niro said, \u201cThe bottom line is that I feel betrayed by my country. It doesn\u2019t have to be perfect but it does need to return to the values that gave us our strength and humanity.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTrump posted on Truth Social that Omar and Tlaib \u201cshould actually get on a boat with Trump Deranged Robert De Niro, another sick and demented person with, I believe, an extremely Low IQ, who has absolutely no idea what he is doing or saying \u2014 some of which is seriously CRIMINAL! When I watched him break down in tears last night, much like a child would do, I realized that he may be even sicker than Crazy Rosie O\u2019Donnell, who is right now in Ireland trying to figure out how to come back into our beautiful United States. The only difference between De Niro and Rosie is that she is probably somewhat smarter than him, which isn\u2019t saying much.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDe Niro was a critic of Trump in his first term and has continued to speak out in his second.
