\n\tHoda Kotb<\/a> will continue to host the Today<\/a> show amid Savanna Guthrie\u2019s absence following the disappearance of her mother, Nancy Guthrie.<\/p>\n

\n\tMultiple reports confirm that Kotb will remain in the anchor chair alongside Craig Melvin for the time being. The journalist returned to the NBC morning show<\/a> on February 6 to fill in for Savannah Guthrie<\/a> amid her mom\u2019s abduction.<\/p>\n

\n\tKotb had made sporadic appearances<\/a> on the Today show since her departure in January 2025. She had co-hosted the morning show with Savannah Guthrie since 2018.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn September 2024, Kotb announced she was leaving the Today<\/a> show at the beginning of 2025.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThey say two things can be right at the same time, and I\u2019m feeling that so deeply right now. I love you\u00a0and\u00a0it\u2019s time for me to leave the show,\u201d she wrote in a memo to staffers. \u201cI\u2019ve been weighing this decision for quite a while \u2013\u00a0Am I truly ready?\u00a0But, my sixtieth birthday celebration on the Plaza felt like a shift. Like a massive, joyful\u00a0YES, you are!\u00a0I saw it all so clearly: my broadcast career has been beyond meaningful, a new decade of my life lies ahead, and now my daughters and my mom need and deserve a bigger slice of my time pie.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe search for Savannah Guthrie\u2019s mom continues now in its fifth week. In a new video, Savannah Guthrie said they are offering a family reward of up to $1 million<\/a> for information leading to Nancy Guthrie\u2019s whereabouts.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe still believe in a miracle. We still believe that she can come home, hope against hope, as my sister says, \u2018We are blowing on the embers of hope.\u2019 We also know that she may be lost. She may already be gone,\u201d Savannah Guthrie said in the video posted on Tuesday. \u201cShe may have already gone home to the Lord that she loves and is dancing in heaven with her mom and her dad and with her beloved brother Pierce and with our daddy. If this is what is to be, then we will accept it, but we need to know where she is.
