Roy Keane is \u201cnot falling for the \u2018too good to go down’\u201d trap as he picked a \u201cdoomed\u201d club in the relegation battle, while Ian Wright insists one moment in the North London derby proved Tottenham have already \u201cchecked out\u201d.<\/p>\n
Spurs are four points above the relegation zone and are very much in a battle with West Ham and Nottingham Forest to avoid the drop after Igor Tudor\u2019s arrival failed to stop the rot against Arsenal on Sunday.<\/p>\n
The Gunners recovered from their title wobble to dismiss Spurs 4-1 on their own patch<\/a> and extend Tottenham\u2019s winless run to nine games in the Premier League, featuring five defeats.<\/p>\n And although Keane doesn\u2019t believe Spurs are \u201ctoo good to go down\u201d he does think they will \u201cfind a bit more\u201d than both West Ham and Forest in the run-in.<\/p>\n \u201cI still think they\u2019ll be alright,\u201d Keane said on The Overlap<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m not falling for this \u2018they\u2019re too good to go down\u2019 but I do think they\u2019ll find a bit more than Nottingham Forest and West Ham. These are all little momentum turners \u2013 it can all change week to week. They hold a 3-0 lead over Fenerbahce in the knockout round play-off ahead of the Turkish side\u2019s visit to the City Ground on Thursday.<\/p>\n \u201cThe worst thing with Forest is they\u2019ve got a distraction with Europe,\u201d Keane added. \u201cThey look the most doomed team right now.
