Zack Snyder has now shared an image of Henry Cavill as Superman on Instagram following news that Paramount submitted a revised offer for Warner Bros. Discovery \u2014 an offer WBD has since said is superior to Netflix\u2019s bid<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Update: Netflix has officially backed out, paving the way for Paramount to win WBD<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The timing is hard to ignore, much like all of the other DCEU images shared by Snyder.<\/p>\n

Snyder posted a quote alongside the Henry Cavill Superman image: \u201cWhere I had thought to find an abomination, I shall find a god; where I had thought to slay another, I shall slay myself; where I had thought to travel outward, I shall come to the center of my own existence; where I had thought to be alone, I shall be with all the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Joseph Campbell Connection: Rebirth<\/p>\n

The quote comes from Joseph Campbell\u2019s The Hero with a Thousand Faces, specifically from the \u201cBelly of the Whale\u201d stage of the Hero\u2019s Journey. <\/p>\n

That section represents transformation \u2014 the hero confronting fear, ego, and false perception before emerging changed. <\/p>\n

It signals rebirth and a shift in perspective. <\/p>\n

Snyder choosing that quote under an image of Cavill\u2019s Superman and the potential of Paramount buying WBD does not feel random.<\/p>\n

March Tease Raises Eyebrows<\/p>\n

A day earlier, Snyder posted: \u201cMarch is close, it\u2019s where my story begins. Birthday month\u2026 and somehow the month where so many of my films found their way into the world. 300. Dawn of the Dead. Watchmen. Sucker Punch. Batman v Superman.\u201d<\/p>\n

That reads like a setup. March is clearly significant to Snyder historically, but posting that message now \u2014 right as Paramount\u2019s offer gains traction \u2014 feels like more than nostalgia. <\/p>\n

It sounds like someone is hinting at something coming.<\/p>\n

Paramount Momentum Builds<\/p>\n

Warner Bros. Discovery has confirmed Paramount\u2019s revised proposal qualifies as a \u201csuperior proposal,\u201d giving Netflix a limited window to respond. <\/p>\n

Rumors now suggest Netflix could walk away from the deal. If that happens, Paramount\u2019s path to acquiring WBD becomes much clearer.<\/p>\n

Is a SnyderVerse Announcement Coming?<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve been told the SnyderVerse is back in play if Paramount wins the bid. They want big blockbuster movies. We\u2019re told they teaming with the Saudis who also want testosterone-driven films. They love the SnyderVerse, we\u2019re told. We\u2019re also told Zack Snyder has new Justice League plans<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve also heard Henry Cavill is onboard to return as Superman, with Gal Gadot and Jason Momoa potentially returning as well. Zack also wants Ben Affleck back as Batman. Snyder sharing Cavill\u2019s Superman image at this specific moment adds fuel to that fire.<\/p>\n

Joe Manganiello has also been teasing a return as Deathstroke.<\/a><\/p>\n

Nothing official has been announced.
