\u201cSo that\u2019s for sure that tennis will always be number one in my heart. So I don\u2019t know yet exactly what I\u2019m going to do for tennis, but I want to work in finance.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gael Monfils says he has done some internships to prepare for career in finance<\/p>\n
Asked if he will have to go back to school to prepare for a career in finance, Monfils said: \u201cYeah, I mean, actually, I\u2019ve done some internships when I was a little bit hurt and couldn\u2019t practice a full day.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen, of course, now it\u2019s a little bit easier. And sometimes you can do online schooling.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd then, of course, I try to, you know, when I have downtime with tennis, try to educate myself with finance.\u201d<\/p>\n
Monfils has played in three tournaments so far during his farewell season on the ATP Tour.<\/p>\n
