We’re just hours away from the beginning of March 2026, if you can believe it, and so it’s time to take a look at next month’s PS Plus Essential<\/a> games.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately for people who have zero interest in golf, a leak from earlier in the week turned out to be completely accurate; PGA Tour 2K25<\/a> is being paraded at the front of the pack.<\/p>\n

Sports sims never seem to hit the mark on Sony’s subscription service, but at least the Tiger Woods-branded title only makes up one quarter of the selection.<\/p>\n

Monster Hunter Rise<\/a> is probably going to be the main draw for a lot of players. A brilliantly refined action RPG from Capcom, Rise doesn’t quite have the big budget feel of World<\/a> or Wilds<\/a>, but the gameplay is superb.<\/p>\n

Then there’s Slime Rancher 2<\/a> \u2014 a kind of farming title where you look after… well, slimes. It’s another addictive addition, and out of all the included games, it’s worth checking out if you’re after something a bit different.<\/p>\n

And finally, we’ve got The Elder Scrolls Online<\/a>. A rock solid MMO adaptation of Bethesda’s RPG series, the biggest issue for newcomers is that it’s utterly gigantic. Years of major updates and expansions \u2014 the vast majority of which are included in this PS Plus version \u2014 have resulted in a truly monstrous offering that can eat up months of your life.<\/p>\n
