As the sole remaining member from Fear Factory\u2018s nascent days, guitarist Dino Cazares continues to face calls on social media for a reunion with ex-members of the industrial metal outfit. As he continues to move the band forward with vocalist Milo Silvestro in the wake of the bitter 2020 departure of vocalist Burton C. Bell, those pleas & demands have intensified.<\/p>\n
What some championing such a return may not be aware of is Fear Factory\u2018s decades of legal infighting<\/a>, which add a whole new level of baggage beyond any personality conflict. With Cazares currently in control of the band\u2019s trademarks, work continues on their first album without Bell involved. That\u2019s a personnel change disgruntled fans will have to learn to accept as Cazares has once again ruled out working with any past members.<\/p>\n In a post shared on his X account yesterday, February 28th, Cazares stated:<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t hold any hatred toward any former members, but to be clear, I will not be working with them again, I\u2019m sure the feeling is mutual. What\u2019s done is done, and that chapter is permanently closed. I\u2019ve moved forward and remain focused on the present and the future. A follow-up post made overnight added some further clarity:<\/p>\n \u201cThe only reason I continue addressing this is because fans keep asking. I\u2019ve already moved on and have said that many times.
