While quite a few celebrities have decided to opt out of arriving at the 2026 Actor Awards<\/a>, like nominees Ariana Grande and Leonardo DiCaprio, one everyone knew was coming was host Kristen Bell. But many noticed something: she arrived solo, without her husband Dax Shepard.<\/p>\n

In case you missed it, Bell arrived in a truly stunning, sheer crystal gown from Georges Hobeika at the 32nd Annual Actor Awards<\/a>, held at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall on March 1, 2026. She did arrive solo, but she instantly became one of the best dressed of the night (and even posed with her\u00a0Nobody Wants This\u00a0co-star Jackie Tohn). See the photos below:<\/p>\n

While there\u2019s a chance Shepard may skip the red carpet and just be at the hall for the show, there haven\u2019t been any sighting reports yet. Something else to note is that while Bell has hosted multiple years, Shepard has never walked the Actor Award red carpet before (but was there on-site together)! We\u2019ll soon see.<\/p>\n

For those who don\u2019t know, Bell and Shepard<\/a> started dating in 2007. They married after same-sex marriage was legalized in the United States back in 2013. They have since welcomed two daughters named Lincoln, born in March 2013, and Delta, born in Dec 2014.<\/p>\n

Fans also resurfaced past troubling behavior on Reddit<\/a>, with one asking, \u201cRemember during Covid when Kristen recorded a multi-story post of a fight they were having?\u201d Along with that, Refinery29<\/a> pointed out an odd exchange on Instagram in which Bell was taking their dirty laundry about a parked motorcycle.<\/p>\n

Before these insiders, another insider told Star Magazine<\/a> in Jan 2025 that Bell and Shepard\u2019s \u201crelentless\u201d bickering is turning off many Hollywood pals. \u201cEspecially when you visit them at their home, they have no problem letting it all hang out. Sure, this humanizes them, but they argue all the time,\u201d they said. \u201cIt\u2019s a form of oversharing, and it\u2019s not for everybody!\u201d<\/p>\n

Weeks later, insiders told Heat World<\/a>: \u201cKristen and Dax are one of those couples where, especially when you visit them at their home; they just have no problem letting it all hang out. This makes them more approachable, especially when they\u2019re spending time with their many non-famous friends, but the big downside is that they don\u2019t really hide their bickering and silly, relentless arguments from anybody.\u201d<\/p>\n

They added, \u201cIt\u2019s on full display, all the time, and it can be uncomfortable. Nobody understands why they seem to get off on the awkwardness of it all, but it can be painful to see them openly fight, and even take half-joking cheap shots at one another,\u201d<\/p>\n
