Jack Schlossberg once again blasted Ryan Murphy for his Hulu series \u201cLove Story,\u201d<\/a> which portrays the romance between the late John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette.<\/p>\n

Schlossberg, who was Kennedy\u2019s nephew, called the popular series \u201cgrotesque\u201d in an interview with \u201cCBS Sunday Morning\u201d <\/a>that aired on March 1.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you want to know someone who\u2019s never met anyone in my family, knows nothing about us, talk to Ryan Murphy,\u201d Schlossberg said when asked about the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe guy knows nothing about what he\u2019s talking about, and he\u2019s making a ton of money on a grotesque display of someone else\u2019s life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Schlossberg called the show a \u201cgrotesque\u201d portrayal of the Kennedy family in an interview with \u201cCBS Sunday Morning.\u201d AP<\/p>\n

Back in July 2025, Schlossberg blasted Murphy for profiting off \u201cLove Story.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re making millions off John, making a public spectacle of it but won\u2019t contribute any of your riches to the causes he championed, or the legacy of public service he represented,\u201d Schlossberg wrote on Instagram at the time.<\/p>\n

The Yale graduate also called out Murphy\u2019s comments on the \u201cThis Is Gavin Newsom\u201d podcast, when the producer said he was surprised Schlossberg had negative feelings about\u00a0\u201cLove Story,\u201d since he allegedly didn\u2019t even \u201cremember\u201d his late uncle.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey @ryanmurphyproductions: My earliest memories are of John calling me Jackolatern and \u2018the nudist,\u2019 picking me up from school, his Pontiac convertible,\u201d Schlossberg recalled.<\/p>\n

\u201cI remember being the ring bearer at his wedding and the day he died. I remember Wyclef singing at his funeral,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

Schlossberg, 33, previously shared his disdain for the show based on Kennedy and Bessette, who both died in a 1999 plane crash alongside Carolyn\u2019s sister, Lauren Bessette.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor those wondering whether his family was ever consulted, or has anything to do with, the new shows being made about him, the answer is no,\u201d he said on his Instagram Stories,\u00a0per E! News.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor the record, I think admiration for my Uncle John is great,\u201d he added. \u201cWhat I don\u2019t think is great is profiting off of it in a grotesque way.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLove Story\u201d quickly became one of the most talked-about shows on television after premiering on Feb. 12. Although the Hulu series romanticizes Kennedy and Bessette\u2019s relationship, in private, their dynamic was more complex.<\/a><\/p>\n

Sources told Page Six that while Kennedy \u2014 the only son of of President John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis \u2014 loved attention, Bessette was reserved.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey would have huge fights. Major fights. Crazy fights,\u2019\u201d a source familiar with the couple told us.<\/p>\n

Another society insider shared, \u201cHe made it hard for her. [Carolyn] got the raw end of the deal. She did what she could to keep it together.
