For me, it\u2019s as much about physical health as it is mental! fetchpriority=\"high\"\/><\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"15\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">When we asked Sarah Lindsay, who trained Mel in 2015 and is a three-time Olympian and founder of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.roar-fitness.com\/body-transformations\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.roar-fitness.com\/body-transformations\/\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"Roar Fitness\" data-node-id=\"15.1\" class=\"body-link css-1e57p3n emevuu60\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Roar Fitness<\/a>, about the benefits of the workout, she said: \u2018This is a full-body mixed session, where she&#8217;s doing lots of different compound moves that engage muscle groups. It&#8217;s more of a general workout than what may be considered progressive training because there are so many exercises.<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"21\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">\u2018I also assume that&#8217;s not the order she performed the exercises in, because she does some heavy lifting, such as Romanian deadlifts in the middle, which probably came earlier in the session,\u2019 she added.<\/p>\n<p>Mel B\u2019s full workout routine<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"26\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">As for her wider routine, the singer strength trains three times a week for around 30 to 45 minutes. \u2018I feel so good after weight training,\u2019 she told Women\u2019s Fitness. \u2018What a lot of women don\u2019t realise is that, after the age of 35, you need to incorporate weights into your workouts to avoid the risk of getting osteoporosis once you head into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.womenshealthmag.com\/uk\/perimenopause-menopause\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.womenshealthmag.com\/uk\/perimenopause-menopause\/\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"menopause\" data-node-id=\"26.3\" class=\"body-link css-1e57p3n emevuu60\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">menopause<\/a>. It\u2019s something that can be prevented and I think we should all be told about it by our doctors.\u2019<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"30\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">In addition to her resistance sessions, the 50-year-old does one \u2018massive, high-intensity workout on a Sunday\u2019, along with 20-minute sessions on her Peloton <a href=\"https:\/\/www.womenshealthmag.com\/uk\/cycling\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.womenshealthmag.com\/uk\/cycling\/\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"bike\" data-node-id=\"30.1\" class=\"body-link css-1e57p3n emevuu60\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">bike<\/a> and regular dog walks as part of a low-impact  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.womenshealthmag.com\/uk\/fitness\/a63135826\/cardiovascular-endurance\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.womenshealthmag.com\/uk\/fitness\/a63135826\/cardiovascular-endurance\/\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"cardio\" data-node-id=\"30.3\" class=\"body-link css-1e57p3n emevuu60\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">cardio<\/a> routine. That way it can\u2019t get ANY friggin&#8217; worse,\u2019 read the tongue-in-cheek caption.<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"39\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">Lindsay noted: \u2018She&#8217;s keeping fit and strong and improving her mental health as well. Exercise is clearly a priority for her.
