\n\tKesha has joined the growing list<\/a> of musicians who have spoken out against the Trump administration and the White House<\/a> for using their songs on social media after a video featuring her hit \u201cBlow\u201d was posted last month.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe clip<\/a>, posted on February 10, shows a fighter jet shooting a missile at a naval ship with the caption \u201cLethality.\u201d The post has been viewed 14.5 million times and liked by 1.8 million users on TikTok.<\/p>\n

\n\tThough it\u2019s been several weeks since the White House published the video, the pop singer took to social media on Monday to express her disapproval of her song\u2019s use. \u201cIt\u2019s come to my attention that The White House has used one of my songs on TikTok to incite violence and threaten war,\u201d wrote Kesha<\/a>. \u201cTrying to make light of war is disgusting and inhumane. I absolutely do NOT approve of my music being used to promote violence of any kind. Love always trumps hate. please love yourself and each other in times like this. This show of blatant disregard for human life and quite frankly this attack on all of our nervous systems is the opposite of what I stand for.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShe concluded her message with a reference to the Epstein files: \u201cAlso, don\u2019t let this distract us from the fact that criminal predator Donald Trump appears in the Files over a million times.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe White House did not immediately respond to Variety\u2018s request for comment. White House Director of Communications Steven Cheung quoted<\/a> Kehsa\u2019s tweet on X and wrote, \u201cAll these \u2018singers\u2019 keep falling for this. This just gives us more attention and more view counts to our videos because people want to see what they\u2019re bitching about. Thank you for your attention to this matter.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tKesha\u2019s post comes just days after Radiohead slammed the Department of Homeland Security for using their song \u201cLet Down\u201d in a pro-ICE video, telling them to \u201cgo fuck yourselves.\u201d \u201cWe demand that the amateurs in control of the ICE social media account take it down,\u201d they said in a statement. \u201cIt ain\u2019t funny, this song means a lot to us and other people, and you don\u2019t get to appropriate it without a fight.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOlivia Rodrigo shared a similar sentiment in a message to ICE back in November, stating, \u201cDon\u2019t ever use my songs to promote your racist, hateful propaganda\u201d after DHS used \u201cAll American Bitch\u201d in a video. Sabrina Carpenter also called out a post that used her song \u201cJuno\u201d to accompany footage of immigrants being tackled and arrested. \u201cThis video is evil and disgusting. Do not ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda,\u201d she wrote at the time. In December, SZA blasted the White House for using her \u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d song about cuffing season in a pro-ICE post.<\/p>\n
