The desperate search for Nancy Guthrie has entered its second month, and the sheriff leading the investigation believes they are \u201cdefinitely closer\u201d to finding a suspect or suspects in her disappearance.<\/p>\n
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said in an interview<\/a> that aired on NBC\u2019s Today show on Tuesday, \u201cI think that investigators are definitely closer. We\u2019ve got a lot of intel, a lot of leads, but now it\u2019s time to just go to work.\u201d<\/p>\n To mark one month since their mother\u2019s disappearance, Savannah Guthrie, her sister, Annie Guthrie, and Savannah\u2019s brother-in-law, Tommaso Cioni, visited the growing tribute of yellow flowers, cards and messages left outside of Nancy Guthrie\u2019s home in Tucson, Ariz., on Monday.<\/p>\n \u201cWe feel the love and prayers from our neighbors, from the Tucson community and from around the country \ud83d\udc9b,\u201d Savannah Guthrie wrote on Instagram<\/a> after the visit, along with a photo of the flowers. \u201cplease don\u2019t stop praying and hoping with us. bring her home.\u201d<\/p>\n The family of Nancy Guthrie, 84, is offering $1 million for information leading to her \u201crecovery.\u201d<\/p>\n
