\n\tMarlon Wayans<\/a> is reprising his Shorty Meeks role in Scary Movie<\/a> 6 and is opening up about the new comedy horror film.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a new interview, Wayans calls the movie \u201cmulti-generational\u201d and also weighs in on the jokes that they will tackle.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWhat we\u2019re trying to do is bring back laughter,\u201d Wayans said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly<\/a>. \u201cThis is about bringing back comedy the way it used to be. And I think the only way to do it is you have to cancel the cancel culture.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe trailer gives a glimpse into what they will make fun of, and they will seemingly be equally offensive to everyone.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe\u2019re gonna do what we always do. We\u2019re gonna make fun of everybody because we\u2019re equal opportunity offenders,\u201d he said. \u201cWe have a recipe, we have a formula that you can\u2019t mimic or copy. You could try, but it\u2019s very specific. It\u2019s how we grew up, and it\u2019s how we see the world. It\u2019s the household we were raised in with the sense of humor that we all were governed with, that we inherited from our mother.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWayans says that they \u201clike to be fearless\u201d but \u201cstill do things with kid gloves to let people laugh at themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tScary Movie 6<\/a> opens in theaters on June 5. The film is directed by Michael Tiddes and written by Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Keenen Ivory Wayans, Craig Wayans, and Rick Alvarez.<\/p>\n
