(Photo by Justin Setterfield\/Getty Images)\" class=\"wp-image-363008\" title=\"Chelsea player slapped with FA charge for Arsenal misconduct 2\" \/>Photo by Justin Setterfield\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>The FA have confirmed that <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycannon.com\/tag\/pedro-neto\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pedro Neto<\/a> has been charged for his actions following his red card against Arsenal last weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The FA allege that Neto \u201cacted in an improper manner by failing to leave the pitch promptly; and\/or used abusive words towards the match official\/s\u201d. The severity of the punishment will depend on exactly what the FA believe him to have done, whether it\u2019s a case of purely failing to leave the pitch promptly, or whether he said anything particularly inappropriate.<\/p>\n<p>Neto has already missed one match through suspension, as he served his one-game red card ban on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Chelsea won 4-1 in the winger\u2019s absence, so <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycannon.com\/tag\/liam-rosenior\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Liam Rosenior<\/a> might not be too keen to throw the 25-year-old back into the starting lineup anyway.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"666\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/arsenal-v-chelsea-premier-league-1.jpg\" alt=\"Pedro Neto of Chelsea walks down the tunnel with coaching staff after being shown a red card during the Premier League match between Arsenal and Chelsea at Emirates Stadium on March 01, 2026 in London, England. (Photo by Justin Setterfield\/Getty Images)\" class=\"wp-image-363009\" title=\"Chelsea player slapped with FA charge for Arsenal misconduct 4\" \/>Photo by Justin Setterfield\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Arsenal fans will be keeping an eye on developments, as Chelsea are due to host the Gunners\u2019 title rivals Manchester City at Stamford Bridge in mid-April.<\/p>\n<p>If Neto\u2019s FA charge drags on <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycannon.com\/2026\/02\/manchester-city-rodri-fa-ban\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">for as long as Rodri\u2019s has<\/a>, he might not end up receiving his punishment until April.
