\n\tJustin Timberlake<\/a> is opening up about a medical diagnosis. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe singer took to Instagram on Thursday to celebrate and reflect on the end of his two-year Forget Tomorrow tour. However, in his reflection, he said he wanted to detail \u201cwhat\u2019s going on\u201d with him despite being a \u201cpretty private person.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAmong other things, I\u2019ve been battling some health issues, and was diagnosed with Lyme disease -\u2014 which I don\u2019t say so you feel bad for me \u2013\u2013 but to shed some light on what I\u2019ve been up\u00a0against behind the scenes,\u201d Timberlake said.<\/p>\n

\n\tHe continued, \u201cIf you\u2019ve experienced this disease or know someone who has \u2014 then you\u2019re aware: living with this can be relentlessly debilitating, both mentally and physically. When I first got the diagnosis I was shocked for sure. But, at least I could understand why I would be onstage and in a massive amount of nerve pain or, just feeling crazy fatigue or sickness. I was faced with a personal decision. Stop touring? Or, keep going and figure it out. I decided the joy that performing brings me far outweighs the fleeting stress my body was\u00a0feeling. I\u2019m so glad I kept going.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBy continuing on, Timberlake said he was able to prove his \u201cmental tenacity\u201d to himself and \u201cnow have so many special moments with all of you that I will never forget. I was reluctant to talk about this because I was always raised to keep something like this to yourself. But I am trying to be more transparent about my struggles so that they aren\u2019t misinterpreted.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSharing all of this with the\u00a0hope that we can all find a way to be more connected. I\u2019d like to do my part to help others experiencing this disease too.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe finished his statement by thanking his crew, band and those attended the tour, saying they \u201cwill forever leave me in awe. You have made my dreams come true.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThere really is no way to put into words the feeling of being on a stage and getting to share the experience of live music<\/a> with all of you. It\u2019s a vibration of frequency that is unmatched. Sacred to me. I honestly don\u2019t know what my future is onstage but I\u2019ll always cherish this run! And all of them before! It\u2019s been the stuff of LEGEND for me.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tHe also finished with a message to wife Jessica Biel and their two sons: \u201cMy heart is filled with gratitude! Love each other. Be good to each other. Don\u2019t take it for granted. To Jess, Silas, and Phin\u2026 nothing is more powerful than your unconditional love. You are my heart and my home. I\u2019m on my way.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTimberlake\u2019s comments come amid some online scrutiny he has received with concertgoers calling out the singer for what they considered a lackluster performance.<\/p>\n

\n\tTimberlake\u2019s tour kicked off in April 2024, about one month after he released album\u00a0Everything I Thought It Was album. According to Billboard, the tour made Timberlake the 10th top touring artist of\u00a0Billboard\u2018s\u00a0midyear Boxscore report<\/a>, grossing $73.2 million across 41 shows as of late May.<\/p>\n
