After several years of bleach blonde, Ariana Grande showed her natural curls in a video posted on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The Wicked actress went makeup-free in the video, highlighting her 21 favorite lip products.<\/p>\n

Grande previously called her natural hair a “humongous curly poof,” noting it’s “who I am privately.”<\/p>\n

Furthering the nostalgic hair vibes, the pop star even resurrected her signature high ponytail<\/a> at the 2026 Golden Globes<\/a> in January. On Wednesday, the Wicked actress took fans back even further, to the earliest days of her career, when she showed her rarely-seen natural curls<\/a> in a makeup-free video.<\/p>\n

For the laid-back Instagram video<\/a>, posted on March 4, Grande traded out her pin-straight blowout for dark, collarbone-length brown ringlets, which she pulled back with a nude headband. The \u201cThank U, Next\u201d singer gave her followers a glimpse of her unwinding routine, forgoing her camera-ready glam in favor of a white sheet mask. Grande walked viewers through some of her go-to makeup products. Though the star was mostly pared down, she did wear a pair of pearl stud earrings on each lobe.<\/p>\n

Grande was dressed in a white \u201cFocker\u201d sweater\u2014an apparent nod to the Ben Stiller film franchise\u2014as she dissected her favorite lip combos. \u201cHow many lip glosses are too many? The limit does not exist,\u201d she wrote in the caption, referencing the 21 glosses, treatments, and lipsticks she pulled out of her bag during the clip.<\/p>\n

Back in 2014, Grande admitted that she first adopted her signature high ponytail to hide the damage her hair underwent while playing red-headed Cat in Victorious. In 2020, the \u201c7 Rings\u201d star posted another photo of her natural curls<\/a>, noting that they were finally \u201ccoming in strong.”<\/p>\n

“My real hair\u2014which is this humongous curly poof\u2014so few people get to see it. It’s cute and it reminds me of me as a kid,\u201d she said on the Zach Sang Show<\/a>.
