Audacy claims six of the top 10 overall and four of the top five sports talk shows.<\/p>\n<p>Inside Radio\u2019s TOP 10 rankings are based on actual listenership and are not a popularity contest decided by a few dozen individuals.<\/p>\n<p>Leading the pack is the station that started it all, New York\u2019s \u201cThe Fan\u201d WFAN-AM\/FM (660\/ 101.9), which in 1987 became America\u2019s first all-sports radio station. With a cume of just under half a million, Audacy\u2019s WFAN has had a history of successful PM drive hosts, including Chris \u201cMad Dog\u201d Russo, Mike Francesa and the team of Evan Roberts and former New York Giant Tiki Barber, who hosted afternoons during Nielsen\u2019s Fall 2025 measurement period. As of January, veteran WFAN host Craig Carton took over the daypart, accompanied by Chris McMonigle.<\/p>\n<p>Audacy\u2019s \u201c97.1 The Ticket\u201d WXYT-FM Detroit\u2019s \u201cThe Valenti Show\u201d with Mike Valenti, who has been with the station since 2004, comes in second, followed by Petros Papadakis and Matt \u201cMoney\u201d Smith, who have hosted afternoons on iHeartMedia\u2019s \u201cLA Sports\u201d KLAC (570 AM) Los Angeles since 2007.<\/p>\n<p>Audacy shows rank fourth and fifth, with Ike Reese, Spike Eskin and Jack Fritz afternoons on \u201cSportsradio 94\u201d WIP-FM Philadelphia, followed by \u201cSports Radio 610\u201d KILT-AM Houston\u2019s \u201cThe Drive\u201d with hosts Clint Stoerner and Ron \u201cThe Show\u201d Hughley.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"height: auto; max-width: 100%; border: none; display: block;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Top10-Sports-PMD-Mar2026-AA.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Audacy takes the sixth position on the Top 10 with Matt Spiegel and Laurence Holmes, driving listeners home on \u201cThe Score\u201d WSCR-AM Chicago (670), which began simulcasting on 104.3 in February of this year. Bonneville \u201cSeattle Sports 710\u201d KIRO-AM\u2019s Dave Wyman and Bob Stelton are ranked seventh, followed by another Audacy station \u2014 \u201c105.3 The Fan\u201d KRLD-FM Dallas, home to \u201cGBag Nation\u201d since 2013, with Gavin Dawson, Bryan Broaddus, Jeff Cavanaugh and Zach Wolchuk currently hosting.<\/p>\n<p>Beasley Media Group \u201c98.5 The Sports Hub\u201d WBZ-FM Boston\u2019s \u201cFelger &amp; Mazz\u201d (Mike Felger and Tony Massarotti), who have been with the station since its start in 2009, take the No. 9 position, followed by iHeartMedia\u2019s \u201cK-Fan\u201d KFXN-FM (100.3) Minneapolis\u2019 \u201cBumper to Bumper\u201d with Dan Barreiro, who\u2019s hosted there for more than three decades.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"When it comes to sports radio\u2019s most listened-to daypart, Audacy knows the score.
