WASHINGTON (TNND) \u2014 Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.<\/a> said during an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience that cell phone-free schools will help make America healthy gain.<\/p>\n

\u201cBell-to-bell, cell phone\u2013free education is restoring focus and reconnecting families in 26 states,\u201d he wrote in a post on X Thursday. <\/p>\n

\u201cStrong schools build strong communities. That\u2019s how we Make America Healthy Again<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

He attached a clip from Rogan\u2019s podcast where he talked about different school districts and how they manage phones in classrooms.<\/p>\n

He said that he visited a school in Loudoun County, Virginia where students fought for the ability to keep their cell phones in class.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn that state, they can bring their cell phone to school but they have to leave it in their backpack,\u201d Kennedy said.<\/p>\n

He said that if parents need to call and talk to their kid they can.<\/p>\n

Kennedy said at first the students were against not being able to use their phones in schools, but eventually they liked it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI walked into the cafeteria..there were 600 kids in that cafeteria and they\u2019re all talking to each other,\u201d he said. \u201cThey\u2019re sitting across the table. Nobody\u2019s looking at their laps.\u201dComment with Bubbles<\/p>\n
