Candace Owens is picking apart a claim Erika Kirk made at a Turning Point USA event.<\/p>\n

In the Thursday, March 5, episode of her Bride of Charlie<\/a> series, the political commentator, 36,<\/a> addressed the remark that the Turning Point USA CEO, 37,<\/a> made about being \u201cthe sole provider for my children\u201d<\/a> since her husband Charlie Kirk was fatally shot in September.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt frustrates me because what it truly does is it discounts who Charlie was. How genius he was, how financially savvy he was,\u201d the podcast host remarked. \u201cShe\u2019s trying to relate like she\u2019s just like a single mom and trying and working a 9 to 5, working at a restaurant trying to make ends meet for her children, and the father\u2019s gone.\u201d<\/p>\n

Owens claimed<\/a> that the mom of two wasn\u2019t \u201cbeing clear here\u201d about Charlie\u2019s life insurance policies, \u201cwhich she would have benefited tremendously from.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cErika was set to receive $10 million from his work policy. So, this is an insult to Charlie because it implies he had nothing, did not have their affairs at all,\u201d she stated. \u201cLike, he just had kids and was just like, \u2018Oh, well, if anything happens to me. I hope my wife is able to assume my role.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, Charlie always had his financial house in order. Investments, whether he was investing in real estate, he had trust for their children, a life insurance policy would have been a no-brainer for him,\u201d Owens added. \u201cAnd like I said, she benefited to the tune of millions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Additionally, Owens pointed out that \u201cmillions were raised\u201d for Erika and her kids \u201cby complete strangers online\u201d as well as from friends like Tucker Carlson.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe wants you to believe that she is just like you, only worse off because she\u2019s a single mom trying to survive for the sake of her kids with a private jet and drivers,\u201d Owens said. \u201cThis girl doesn\u2019t even touch her own door handles, just to be clear. She\u2019s constantly got oh, also a fleet of security, but she\u2019s just like you. You know, \u2018this is the hand I was dealt. I\u2019m the only provider, so I got to get on my private plane and speak.’\u201d<\/p>\n
