Brad Marcelino makes history as the first British-born skipper to helm the squad in a WBC, taking over the reins from former manager Drew Spencer, who stepped down to focus on his coaching career with the New York Yankees.

A veteran of the British national team since 1999 and a standout for the squad for over a decade, Marcelino brings a “homemade” coaching philosophy that emphasizes deep institutional knowledge and international grit. Under his leadership, Great Britain is looking to transform from a sentimental underdog into a legitimate threat in a pool dominated by traditional powerhouses.

Let’s dive into Marcelino and the staff he brings with him for Team GB.
