TULSA, Okla. (KOKH\/KTUL) \u2014 Several tornado-warned storms hit the Tulsa metro Friday night.<\/p>\n
Widespread damage has been reported across north Tulsa.<\/p>\n
Tulsa Tech’s Peoria Campus had a roof blown off.<\/p>\n
Large trees were uprooted, traffic signs blown over, and sheet metal blown across streets.<\/p>\n
Power lines are also hanging over streets. <\/p>\n
The National Weather Service in Tulsa has confirmed five tornado reports in the Tulsa and eastern Oklahoma areas:<\/p>\n
5:18p NW of Bristow in Creek County6:28p in Tulsa6:39p near Okemah in Okfuskee County6:54p near Collinsville in Rogers County7:19p near Beggs in Okmulgee County<\/p>\n
Storms are ongoing throughout Green Country at this time. NWS teams will survey damage to confirm the strength of the tornadoes in the coming days.<\/p>\n
