\n\tOn Saturday Night Live<\/a>, fired Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem<\/a> said her goodbyes, turning in the traditional and not-so-traditional items required in her Trump administration role.<\/p>\n

\n\tNoem (Ashley Padilla) was introduced by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth (Colin Jost), who said she had been \u201creassigned\u2014under the bus.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI just want to make it clear that I didn\u2019t get fired\u2014I self-deported,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

\n\tTrump let her go<\/a> on Thursday, with one contributing factor reportedly being Noem testifying that the president had signed off on a $220 million DHS ad campaign in which she featured prominently. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAnd though I may be leaving this job, I won\u2019t be ending my mission,\u201d she said. \u201cAs I\u2019ve told my plastic surgeon, \u2018The work is never done.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tNoem added that she has no regrets about her tenure, despite one of several controversies<\/a> being federal agents shooting and killing<\/a> two Americans during an immigration crackdown in Minneapolis in January, after which she falsely smeared them as domestic terrorists.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cLike they say: you miss 100 percent of the dogs you don\u2019t shoot,\u201d she said, referring to how she once shot her puppy<\/a> and claimed it was a lesson in good leadership.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI think I really nailed it,\u201d Noem added. \u201cAnd my it, I mean my married coworker, in a big, beautiful flying bedroom<\/a> 30,000 feet over Minneapolis.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLeaving her role\u2014along with rumored lover Corey Lewandowski\u2014is bittersweet, Noem continued. \u201cBut the time has come for me to turn in my badge, gun, lips, lashes, teeth and forehead.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tNoem then tried to be upbeat about her new job, Special Envoy to the Shield of the Americas.<\/p>\n
