A quiet living room is the setting for the most relaxed morning routine. Reef has just walked in and is moving slowly. He takes a brief look at himself in a full-length mirror. And maybe that\u2019s because he knows he\u2019s the \u201cmush king\u201d. Then he heads straight toward his mom, Grace, on the couch to be greeted. The posts on @reefthegolden_ are all about his daily life in Clearwater, Florida. The text in the video says that waking up to a Golden Retriever<\/a> is like sunshine on your face. Reef walks in sleepily, but he quickens his pace when Mom says, \u201cGood morning, baby boy.\u201d He comes right up to the camera lens. Mom moves the camera and then gives him some under-chin scritches. For his part, he sticks his tongue out to lick her hand. But he gets stuck there for a second. His eyes are still half-closed. It is a very slow, sleepy lick. We\u2019ve seen in previous videos that this Golden Retriever takes a beat before fully waking up.<\/p>\n

Eventually, he completes the lick and gives her a few more. Mom tells him, \u201clook at you,\u201d while he keeps kissing her hand. It\u2019s the kind of morning most pet parents dream of, and it\u2019s little wonder that the video has gone viral with over 109k likes.<\/p>\n

He pauses for a second. Nothing about this clip is rushed. He lets his mom give him a scratch on the ears. Then he takes a few more steps to get even closer to her. He just wants to be near his person. People in the comments are loving his \u201cmushy\u201d personality<\/a>. One person pointed out how he checked himself out in the mirror first. Another fan said that pups make mornings a lot easier.<\/p>\n
