And his advice is surprisingly simple, with a playbook that starts with understanding what AI can actually do.<\/p>\n

This tech expert and AI Consultant<\/a>, called Justin Parnell, told Business Insider<\/a> the first thing people get wrong when it comes to AI is imagining AI agents as some kind of magic digital employee.<\/p>\n

Instead, he said it helps to think about them in a much more practical way.<\/p>\n

For him, an AI agent<\/a> is really just a model that takes in information, follows rules, makes decisions step by step, and uses tools to carry out actions.<\/p>\n
