{"id":513790,"date":"2026-03-09T22:23:07","date_gmt":"2026-03-09T22:23:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/513790\/"},"modified":"2026-03-09T22:23:07","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T22:23:07","slug":"stenberg-lindstein-recalled-from-springfield","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/513790\/","title":{"rendered":"Stenberg, Lindstein recalled from Springfield"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>St. Louis\u00a0Blues\u00a0President of Hockey Operations and General Manager\u00a0Doug Armstrong\u00a0announced today that the Blues have recalled forward\u00a0Otto Stenberg\u00a0and defenseman\u00a0Theo Lindstein\u00a0from their AHL affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds.<\/p>\n<p>Stenberg, 20, has dressed in 33 games with Springfield this season, recording 15 points (four goals, 11 assists) and six penalty minutes.\u00a0The Stenungsund, Sweden native has also appeared in 18 games with the Blues this season, tallying eight points (one goal, seven assists) and eight penalty minutes.\u00a0 Overall, the 5-foot-11, 188-pound forward has posted 32 points (nine goals, 23 assists) and 10 penalty minutes in 71 career AHL regular-season games.<\/p>\n<p>Stenberg was drafted by the Blues in the first round, No. 25 overall, of the 2023 NHL\u00a0Draft.<\/p>\n<p>Lindstein, 21, has played in 56 games with Springfield this season, posting 14 points (six goals, eights assists) and 18 penalty minutes.\u00a0His six goals are eighth among rookie defensemen in the AHL.
