{"id":514478,"date":"2026-03-10T06:20:18","date_gmt":"2026-03-10T06:20:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/514478\/"},"modified":"2026-03-10T06:20:18","modified_gmt":"2026-03-10T06:20:18","slug":"apollomd-replies-to-oregon-lawmakers-on-peacehealth-er-staffing-changes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/514478\/","title":{"rendered":"ApolloMD replies to Oregon lawmakers on PeaceHealth ER staffing changes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>EUGENE, Ore. \u2014 ApolloMD has responded to a <a href=\"https:\/\/kval.com\/search?find=Oregon+representatives+are+seeking+more+information+about+the+new+company%2C+ApolloMD%2C+slated+to+run+Emergency+Department+services+at+PeaceHealth+RiverBend\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">letter from Oregon lawmakers<\/a> requesting information regarding Senate Bill 951 compliance in relation to upcoming changes at PeaceHealth\u2019s Lane County emergency departments, after PeaceHealth opted to replace Eugene Emergency Physicians (EEP) employees with staff from Georgia-based ApolloMD in its emergency rooms.<\/p>\n<p>According to ApolloMD&#8217;s letter, ApolloMD,  in its capacity as a management services organization, will support the establishment of a physician-owned practice entity, &#8220;Lane Emergency Physicians, LLC (&#8216;Lane&#8217;),&#8221; and to provide non-clinical administrative services to Lane pursuant to an administrative services agreement. Lane will provide emergency department physician services at Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend, Peace Harbor Medical Center, and Cottage Grove Community Medical Center. In early February 2026, ApolloMD and PeaceHealth commenced transition planning.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;ApolloMD Business Services, LLC, an affiliate of ApolloMD (\u201cABS\u201d), will serve solely as the management services organization to Lane, delivering non-clinical administrative and operational support pursuant to an administrative services agreement,&#8221; ApolloMD&#8217;s letter states. &#8220;All clinical judgment, patient care decisions, medical direction, and professional responsibilities will remain exclusively with Lane\u2019s licensed Oregon physician owner and its clinicians, in full compliance with Oregon law, including Senate Bill 951.
