Dolan\u2019s sports and entertainment portfolio includes four public companies with holdings ranging from the two teams, to Madison Square Garden and the Sphere in Las Vegas. The family-controlled companies are \u201cso intertwined that it is practically impossible for outsiders to keep track of all the related-party transactions between them.\u201d This is a \u201cbig reason why\u201d MSG Sports, the company that owns the Knicks and Rangers, has \u201clong traded for a \u2018Dolan discount\u2019 compared with other marquee teams.\u201d While the Dolans have \u201cvoting control,\u201d the family owns only 21% of MSG Sports shares.
