SUSANNE. WE ARE STILL FOLLOWING THAT BREAKING NEWS OUT OF THE SAINT DENIS NEIGHBORHOOD THIS MORNING. A TEENAGER IS DEAD AFTER SHE WAS HIT CROSSING THE ROAD. THIS HAPPENED AT CANE RUN ROAD AND TEAKWOOD CIRCLE JUST BEFORE SEVEN THIS MORNING. SHAQUILLE LORD LIVE NEAR THE SCENE THIS MORNING. SHAQ YOU SAID YOU\u2019VE SEEN A LOT OF STUDENTS WALKING IN THIS AREA. YEAH, THAT\u2019S EXACTLY RIGHT. CARAY AND ALEX DURHAM A FEW SCHOOLS NEARBY, BUT THIS 16 YEAR OLD HAS NOT BEEN IDENTIFIED. NOW THE SCENE IS STARTING TO CLEAR UP A BIT, BUT THERE IS STILL A SCENE HERE. NOW, HERE IS WHAT WE KNOW FROM LMPD. THEY SAY AROUND 650 THIS MORNING, A 16 YEAR OLD WAS TRYING TO CROSS CANE RUN ROAD FROM WEST TO EAST NEAR TEAKWOOD CIRCLE. SHE WAS NOT IN A MARKED CROSSWALK WHEN SHE WAS THEN HIT BY THREE VEHICLES TRAVELING SOUTHBOUND THAT INCLUDED A SEMI TRACTOR TRAILER, A PASSENGER VEHICLE AND AN SUV. SHE UNFORTUNATELY DIED HERE AT THE SCENE. NOW, INVESTIGATORS SAY THOSE DRIVERS DID REMAIN HERE ON THE SCENE. AS YOU CAN SEE HERE, RIGHT NOW, THE SCENE IS STARTING TO CLEAR UP A BIT, BUT POLICE ARE STILL ACTIVELY INVESTIGATING THIS SITUATION. NOW, AGAIN, NOT MUCH INFORMATION IS KNOWN AT THIS TIME.
