Diego Costa is up there for one of the best Chelsea strikers of the modern era, however he believes one player who flopped at Stamford Bridge was better all-round than Didier Drogba.<\/p>\n

Drogba<\/a> is the measuring stick for all strikers that come through at Chelsea<\/a>, and many will believe that only Costa has hit those heights so far.<\/p>\n

Only now is Joao Pedro starting to rival the pair<\/a> for goals scored, with a 20 goal Premier League season firmly in his sights.<\/p>\n

A number of huge names in the world of football have not made it in West London, with the most obvious example being former Atletico Madrid and Porto striker Falcao.<\/p>\n

Costa is a massive fan of the Colombian, and chose him over Drogba during a \u2018winner stays on\u2019 TikTok with Mario Suarez<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A number of other Chelsea strikers were ranked by Costa<\/a>. He chose David Villa over himself, as well as Fernando Torres.<\/p>\n

When looking at the stats, Blues fans may struggle to believe this could possibly be the case. Falcao scored just one goal for Chelsea during a single season at the club.<\/p>\n

The Blues went into that game as favourites after winning the Champions League<\/a>, although a truly wonderful individual performance left them in bits.<\/p>\n

It is perhaps more likely that the Premier League just missed the best of Falcao. He also underwent a poor spell at Manchester United.<\/p>\n
