Job security is almost non-existent at Old Trafford<\/a> since Ineos got involved in the running of the football club.<\/p>\n Sir Jim Ratcliffe<\/a> has been reckless in terms of announcing hundreds of redundancies since becoming co-owner. On top of that, United fans<\/a> have been hit with increased ticket prices.<\/p>\n There is genuine fear that prices will continue to rise and that the situation, for fans, will get worse. It is time that Ratcliffe realises the club will be relying on those loyal supporters to create an iconic atmosphere in the new stadium.<\/p>\n The new season is almost upon us, but unrest among United fans has not been quenched from previous years.<\/p>\n United fans are planning further protests against the club\u2019s ownership in the forthcoming season.<\/p>\n It emerged earlier this month that United were considering bringing in a personal seat licence system (PSL) should they move to a new stadium. In turn, supporters would be charged up to \u00a34,000 for the right to buy a season ticket.<\/p>\n This has understandably led to backlash among fans, who previously protested against the Glazer family<\/a> and Ineos<\/a>, even though everything is at an exploratory stage.<\/p>\n United fan group The 1958 claim the introduction of PSLs would \u2018force out supporters who have followed the club for decades\u2019 and come as a further slap in the face to the most loyal in the fanbase.<\/p>\n A spokesperson for the group told the Daily Mail<\/a>: \u201cThe 1958 are fervently against personal ticket licences. This will force out supporters who have followed our club for decades home and away. It will price out the youth, local communities, and generations of loyal fans. It\u2019s another step towards the Americanisation of our game which is ripping football away from its working-class roots, showing just how out of touch our club and owners have become.<\/p>\n \u201cThis isn\u2019t about the game or the supporters \u2013 it\u2019s about profit and greed over loyalty and tradition.<\/p>\n \u201cWe don\u2019t believe a word the club say. United are a sounding board for all other clubs. Their actions prove their intentions.
