In recent months, the agency has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statnews.com\/2025\/09\/19\/fda-obesity-semaglutide-tirzepatide-telehealth-warning-compounding-glp1\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">warned them<\/a> against implying that their products are FDA approved, or that they themselves manufacture the products.<\/p>\n<p>But those companies may not be the only ones under the microscope.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The telehealth companies that have been warned \u2014 with names like Lovely Meds, Hello Cake, and MEDVi \u2014 don\u2019t directly prescribe the medications, which are not approved by the FDA or evaluated for safety and efficacy. That falls to the clinicians in medical groups affiliated with the companies.
