Bryce James, the youngest son of NBA star LeBron James, made the decision to redshirt his freshman year at Arizona. While the decision was a forgone conclusion given the fact he hasn’t seen the court this season, this puts an extended timeline on the prospect of another son of James in the league.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Wildcats and coach Tommy Lloyd will keep the 6-foot-5 guard on the bench, which means it’s unlikely LeBron will be in the league the same time as Bryce.<\/p>\n

The NBA great, future Hall-of-Famer, and international superstar is currently in his record 23rd season in the league. The redshirt decision would put James into rare territory with an NBA career spanning a quarter-century to be playing at the same time as Bryce. Maybe that’s the end goal here. However, it’s tough to say.<\/p>\n

Bronny James has floated back and forth between the G League and the Los Angeles Lakers as he tries to ease his way into the league. Bryce could take a similar route, but the idea of him playing with his father and older brother on the same NBA team is insane. Stranger things have happened.<\/p>\n
