Via iStockphoto \/ @themultzz TikTok\/@eosfitness TikTok<\/a><\/p>\n Getting to the gym is already a motivational struggle, even if you know the place you\u2019re going to is clean, orderly, and stocked with enough equipment for everyone present.<\/p>\n However, the truth is that gyms often get crowded and messy, and sometimes the attitudes of other gym-goers can put you off exercising altogether.<\/p>\n According to one EOS Fitness client in California, the negative sides of the gym he visited don\u2019t end there.<\/p>\n In his video, which got over 713,500 views, TikTok creator Luke Multz (@themultz) shared his experience of just recently switching from a bodybuilding gym<\/a> to EOS.<\/p>\n \u201cSo I just went to an EOS, or EOS Fitness, whatever\u2014however you say it,\u201d he begins.<\/p>\n According to Multz, the atmosphere inside the gym immediately surprised him.<\/p>\n \u201cThey were not lying when they say that [expletive] is genuinely like a nightclub,\u201d he says. \u201cIt felt like there was an event going on.\u201d<\/p>\n He explains that the first issue began before he even stepped inside the building.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was ridiculous. You could not park anywhere,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n Once inside, he says the environment felt far different from the type of gym he\u2019s used to training at.<\/p>\n \u201cEveryone was kind of mingling,\u201d he says. \u201cThere were little groups and posses and people everywhere talking.\u201d<\/p>\n Multz explains that he typically trains at a bodybuilding-style gym, which tends to have a much quieter and more focused environment.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m used to training at a bodybuilding gym. It is not like that,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n Instead, he says the overall vibe reminded him more of a social scene than a workout space.<\/p>\n \u201cCompletely different vibe, completely different atmosphere,\u201d he says. \u201cIt genuinely felt like a night out at the bars.\u201d<\/p>\n Commenters Share Differing Experiences<\/p>\n In the comments section, viewers shared their own opinions about EOS gyms.<\/p>\n \u201cEOS is def for the ppl who just wanna be seen and socialize,\u201d one user wrote. \u201cAlways groups of kids & their tripods. I switched to Planet [Fitness], it\u2019s so calm and everyone minds their business & they added new equipment. I\u2019ll never go back to EOS.\u201d<\/p>\n Another commenter believed they knew exactly which gym Multz was referring to.<\/p>\n \u201cI already know ur talking about the Guadalupe EOS,\u201d they wrote.<\/p>\n Multz confirmed the guess in a reply. \u201cIt indeed was Guadalupe,\u201d he responded, referring to an EOS location in Tempe, Arizona.<\/p>\n Others argued that the experience can vary depending on the gym.<\/p>\n \u201cIt just depends on the location fr,\u201d another commenter wrote. \u201cMine is in a nice location and never is busy busy but the one near ASU is awful.\u201d<\/p>\n What Makes EOS Fitness Different?<\/p>\n EOS Fitness has over 200 locations in the U.S. and is known for its budget-friendly membership pricing. At most locations, a single-gym membership costs around $9.99 per month.<\/p>\n Because of the low price point, some EOS locations can become significantly more crowded than traditional gyms. It does heavily depend on each location and community.<\/p>\n Just as commenters shared under the video, other netizens online have expressed similarly split reactions to different locations.<\/p>\n One Reddit user on r\/EOSFitness wrote<\/a> that while the gyms are properly equipped, the locations themselves can be an issue. \u201cTheir business model though, is to give you A LOT of value for a low cost,\u201d they wrote. \u201cI recommend adding it into your rotation of gyms you go to if you can afford it.\u201d<\/p>\n Another poster, on the other hand, said the crowdedness makes it impossible for them to work out. \u201cI mean every single machine is in use, including the 20 million treadmills and StairMasters,\u201d they wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n BroBible has reached out to EOS Fitness via contact form and Multz via Instagram messages for comment.<\/p>\n \t\t\t
