(WBAY) &#8211; As we inch closer to spring and summer, more wildlife starts to stir.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Sometimes small or infant animals get hurt or separated, and that\u2019s when the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary in Green Bay comes in.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">We talked with Lori Bankson, curator of animals at the sanctuary, about the need for volunteers to help with this influx of animals.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The next <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenbaywi.gov\/1374\/R-PAWS-Rehabilitation-Program\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.greenbaywi.gov\/1374\/R-PAWS-Rehabilitation-Program\">R-PAWS training<\/a> is Saturday, March 14, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">You must have training to volunteer with the animals at the sanctuary. Call (920) 391-3683 to RSVP. It\u2019s open to anyone 18 and older or families. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The 535-acre wildlife sanctuary is open to visitors daily from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Nature Center is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2026 WBAY.
