Curry, who turns 38 Saturday, has missed the last 15 games and is now on track to miss at least six more.<\/p>\nKerr sounded hopeful Thursday that Curry was putting together solid workouts in his rehab process, but it remains unclear when, or if, Curry will play again this season. Kerr said Curry has only done individual on-court workouts with VP of player health and performance Rick Celebrini and assistant coach Bruce Fraser, and has yet to do work with the team.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe did get on the court today, which is good,\u201d Kerr said.<\/p>\n
The Warriors, who come into Thursday\u2019s game with the Minnesota Timberwolves with a 32-33 record, have 17 games left in the regular season and currently sit in ninth place in the Western Conference.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe biggest thing is, \u2018Is he trending in the right direction?’\u201d Kerr said. \u201cAnd the answer\u2019s yes. Talking to Rick today, he was encouraged with today\u2019s work. We just have to continue the buildup at a measured pace because we don\u2019t want any setbacks. So we\u2019ll continue to be careful, and Rick will lead the effort, obviously. And he\u2019ll be back when he\u2019s back.\u201d<\/p>\n
As the Warriors wait for Curry\u2019s return, they do so without swingman Moses Moody. Moody has missed four straight games because of a sprained wrist, and Kerr said he will remain out for a few more games. Kerr is hopeful that Moody will be able to return at some point on the Warriors\u2019 upcoming six-game East Coast road trip.<\/p>\n
Big man Kristaps Porzingis went through Thursday\u2019s practice and is on track to play Friday against the Timberwolves. Kerr said it remains to be seen if Porzingis will play on both sides of any of the Warriors\u2019 three remaining sets of back-to-back games.<\/p>\n
