The British documentary maker extraordinaire Louis Theroux turns his attention to the world of extreme masculinity in his latest feature-length episode. Travelling from Miami to New York and Marbella, Theroux immerses himself in a world of influencers and content creators operating within the so-called manosphere and attempts to understand their often controversial interpretations of gender roles. <\/p>\n
Twisted Yoga (Apple TV)<\/p>\n
This true crime series from the director of Jimmy Savile: A British Horror Story follows a group of young yoga students drawn to the practice in search of inner peace. But soon they fall under the spell of the reclusive Romanian Gregorian Bivolaru, the leader of a network of yoga studios specialising in tantric rituals. Bivolaru now faces charges in France, including human trafficking, kidnapping and rape, as these women work with the French authorities to convict him. He denies the charges.<\/p>\n
Scarpetta (Prime Video)<\/p>\n
Nicole Kidman is back in another glossy TV drama, but this time she\u2019s teaming up with Jamie Lee Curtis for a series based on Patricia Cornwell\u2019s popular book series. Kidman is the pathologist using her medical skills to solve crimes and prove herself. The series, written by the Emmy-nominated Liz Sarnoff, unfolds across dual timelines, tracing Scarpetta\u2019s journey from her early career in the late 1990s to her present-day return to her home town. Curtis takes the role of Scarpetta\u2019s older sister, Dorothy.<\/p>\n

This show from the creator of Ted Lasso stars Steve Carell as Greg Russo<\/a>, a trashy novelist who visits Ludlow, the arts college where his daughter, Katie (Charly Clive), teaches and is dealing with the affair her husband had with one of his students. This is a comedy with a lot of heart, as Greg clashes with his new academic life while dealing with his own personal struggles.\u00a0<\/p>\n Call the Midwife (BBC iPlayer)\u00a0<\/p>\n Available to watch on PBS Masterpiece in the US<\/p>\n<\/p>\n It\u2019s been one of the most consistently performing dramas for the BBC since 2021, so it\u2019s perhaps with some surprise and dismay that followers of the fortunes of the nuns of Nonnatus House have registered the news that the show is going on a hiatus.
