{"id":521751,"date":"2026-03-13T19:48:10","date_gmt":"2026-03-13T19:48:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/521751\/"},"modified":"2026-03-13T19:48:10","modified_gmt":"2026-03-13T19:48:10","slug":"graeme-mcdowell-northern-ireland-golfer-hits-second-hole-in-one-in-successive-weeks-on-liv-tour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/521751\/","title":{"rendered":"Graeme McDowell: Northern Ireland golfer hits second hole-in-one in successive weeks on LIV tour"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Graeme McDowell created LIV Golf history on Friday, becoming the first player to hit a second hole-in-one on the tour.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The Northern Ireland golfer aced the par-three second in Singapore to help him to an overall round of 70, leaving him in a tie for 15th place on three under par.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">It was a second hole-in-one on consecutive Fridays for McDowell after he achieved the same feat in Hong Kong seven days earlier.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;It cost me a very expensive bottle of wine last week in Hong Kong, and I guess it&#8217;s going to cost me another very expensive bottle of wine, which I look forward to,&#8221; McDowell told LIV Golf.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Holywood golfer Tom McKibbin featured further back in a tie for 24th on the leaderboard, sitting on one under par.
