First of all \u2013 yes, that is Jim Caviezel under all of that make-up as Herod the Great. Sam Worthington plays his son Antipater, with Ben Mendelsohn and Gael Garc\u00eda Bernal also in the cast. It looks like the kind of old fashioned religious epic that used to be a regular part of Hollywood\u2019s output but has dwindled in recent decades.<\/p>\n

Originally titled \u201cBethlehem,\u201d \u201cZero A.D.\u201d shot in Morocco late last year.<\/p>\n

\u201cZero A.D.\u201d will be going up against James Cameron\u2019s highly anticipated \u201cAvatar: Fire and Ash\u201d (also starring Worthington) and Paramount\u2019s \u201cThe SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants,\u201d when it releases this Christmas.<\/p>\n
