{"id":523687,"date":"2026-03-14T19:27:07","date_gmt":"2026-03-14T19:27:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/523687\/"},"modified":"2026-03-14T19:27:07","modified_gmt":"2026-03-14T19:27:07","slug":"giannis-antetokounmpo-out-for-31st-time-this-season-vs-hawks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/523687\/","title":{"rendered":"Giannis Antetokounmpo out for 31st time this season vs. Hawks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mar 14, 2026, 02:23 PM ET<\/p>\n<p>ATLANTA &#8212; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/player\/_\/id\/3032977\/giannis-antetokounmpo\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Giannis Antetokounmpo<\/a> wasn&#8217;t available for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/team\/_\/name\/mil\/milwaukee-bucks\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Milwaukee Bucks<\/a>&#8216; matchup with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/team\/_\/name\/atl\/atlanta-hawks\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Atlanta Hawks<\/a> on Saturday, marking the 31st game the two-time MVP has missed this season.<\/p>\n<p>Although Milwaukee&#8217;s injury report initially had listed Antetokounmpo as questionable due to injury management of his right calf, the team later ruled him out because of a left ankle sprain.<\/p>\n<p>Bucks coach Doc Rivers said at his pregame availability that the issue stemmed from the Bucks&#8217; 112-105 loss to Miami on Thursday night.<\/p>\n<p>The Bucks are playing on back-to-back days; they return home to face the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/team\/_\/name\/ind\/indiana-pacers\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Indiana Pacers<\/a> on Sunday.
