As mentioned on Saturday, the <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcsports.com\/nfl\/profootballtalk\/rumor-mill\/news\/some-see-an-a-j-brown-trade-as-inevitable\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Rams eventually tapped out<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>So what if they\u2019d made the trade for Brown? It would have left them with Puka Nacua (who\u2019s eventually getting a significant second contract), Davante Adams (who\u2019ll make $24 million in cash in 2026), and Brown (who\u2019ll make $29 million this year).<\/p>\n<p>Per a league source, the Rams \u2014 while talking about a possible trade for Brown \u2014 were pursuing the possibility of trading Adams.<\/p>\n<p>The Rams presumably were hoping to get a deal done by today, when a fully-guaranteed $6 million roster bonus came due. And the payment of the bonus likely means they\u2019ll keep Adams and his $18 million base salary.<\/p>\n<p>Regardless, a week with a handful of interesting developments could have had two more: A.J.
