Oppo is poised to launch its latest foldable smartphone, the Find N6, with a new hinge system designed to eliminate the visible crease prominent in devices with flexible screens.<\/p>\n
The device will debut tomorrow (17 March) at the company\u2019s Binhai Bay Campus in China, with Oppo stating the product \u201cmarks a leap forward with its zero-feel crease\u201d and promising a surface that appears flat when the handset is unfolded.<\/p>\n
The vendor said display creases pose a key barrier to wider foldable adoption, stating the Find N6\u2019s redesigned hinge reduces irregularities beneath the flexible display. Engineers used 3D scans of individual hinges and applied droplets of polymer to uneven areas before curing them with UV light. The process reduced the screen\u2019s height variance by 75 per cent, from the industry standard 0.2 mm to 0.05 mm.\n <\/p>\n
The device will also introduce what Oppo calls \u201cauto-smoothing flex glass\u201d, designed to improve elasticity and help the display return to a flat shape when unfolded. The company said the combination can reduce long-term crease depth by up to 82 per cent compared to its predecessor.<\/p>\n

The Android-powered device will also integrate a 200MP Hasselblad camera system and an AI Pen accessory launched in collaboration with Google Cloud, enabling users to convert handwritten notes into organised tables using Gemini Pro.<\/p>\n
