The concert is set to start at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20 as part of the fair\u2019s Bank of the Pacific Grandstand Entertainment Series.<\/p>\n
\u201cJa Rule first entered the scene in 1999 with his debut album Venni Vetti Cecci, which became a platinum-selling album, and its lead single \u2018Holla Holla\u2019. From there, his success grew rapidly. From 1999 to 2005, Ja Rule had multiple hits that made the top 20 of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart, including \u201cBetween Me and You\u201d (featuring Christina Milian), \u201cI\u2019m Real (Murder Remix)\u201d and \u201cAin\u2019t It Funny\u201d (both with Jennifer Lopez) \u2014 which both topped the Hot 100 \u2014 the number 1 hit \u201cAlways on Time\u201d (featuring Ashanti), and \u201cMesmerize\u201d (featuring Ashanti),\u201d the news release states.<\/p>\n
\u201cFat Joe is a Grammy-nominated recording artist that hails from the Bronx, New York. With an acclaimed career that has spanned four different decades, Fat Joe has cemented his legacy as a hip-hop heavyweight, having amassed several multiplatinum and gold studio albums, mixtapes, singles, and collaborations, including \u201cLean Back,\u201d \u201cWhat\u2019s Luv,\u201d \u201cMake It Rain,\u201d and \u201cAll The Way Up,\u201d among countless others. In addition to his success as a recording artist, he has recently become an author, actor, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and media personality, adding to his impressive list of accomplishments,\u201d the news release states.<\/p>\n
Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. Friday, March 20 and can be purchased online, by phone at 360-354-4111, or at the fair office at 1775 Front St. in Lynden. An online-only presale is available March 18, but is only accessible for subscribers of the NW WA Fair\u2019s email newsletter<\/a>.<\/p>\n Tickets cost $55 for grandstand reserved seats, $70 for grandstand preferred seats, or $80 for preferred chairs.
